In memory
Pastor Glenn Kennedy
Pastor Glenn Kennedy lived as a devoted servant of the Lord Jesus. He was a loving husband to Sue Kennedy, a father of seven, and a grandfather of nine.
After retiring as an Air Force pilot, he pastored Kadena Community Church International — now Yomitan International Church — as a missionary in Okinawa. He was vice president of Christians in Action Missions International and a founder of Asian Relief Medical Services, which has given free medical and dental care in the Philippines and Cambodia since 1994. He also helped establish Latin America Relief Medical Services in Colombia.
His congregation included U.S. military families, Okinawan residents, and students from Ryukyu University. To many he was a pastor and a spiritual father.
To the Kennedy family: thank you for sharing him. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds.
